I just bought myself a 2.5-inch HDD. $95 for 500 GB. Lots of
files to move around.
I initially considered buying extra space on DropBox, but then I
considered this:
DropBox
Pros: No need to carry anything around
Cons: More expensive in the long run (US$10/month), 50GB space
only
2.5 inch HDD
Pros: 500 GB, cheaper in the long run ($95 SGD, one off)
Cons: Must lug around the HDD and USB cable
Cloud storage may be the future, but I'm not gonna shell out the
money for it just yet. I'll just bear with the extra bulk.
the thing is small enough.. just twice the thickness of your
mobile... and there are those retractable USB cables these days..
very small and fits in a small corner of your bag... so all-in-all,
i still think the portable HDD is the way to go at the moment
